About our Worship Service

The centerpiece of our worship life, the Sunday worship service, begins at 11 a.m. from September through June, and at 10 a.m. from the first Sunday in July through Labor Day. We serve communion on the first Sunday of each month.
The Rev. Pat Coughlin, our Senior Pastor, is the primary preacher during the church year. She's helped by Rev. Suzanne Bossert, our Associate Pastor, and guest preachers drawn from the congregation as well as from outside the church.
United Parish believes children are an important part of the worship community and invites them to attend the worship service with their families. We do provide nursery care during worship for children through kindergarten age.
The Board of Worship guides the worship life of the United Parish, including liturgical practices, communion preparation, music, and integration of denominational traditions. The Board involves lay persons in a variety of worship and service activities such as communion preparation, lay reading, writing and compiling Advent & Lenten worship guides, and serving as acolytes.
