Weekly Adult Bible Study
All are welcome to come to a discussion each Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the Lindsay Room. Each week we will talk about the passage to be preached upon in worship. No preparation or previous knowledge is required. It is a great time to learn more about each other, more about the Bible and to prepare for worship. If you have questions – please contact Brent.
New Small Groups are Forming
two new groups are forming that will engage one of the most dynamic books of the Bible – the Psalms – as a way of developing our own comfort and ability to carry on a conversation with God. Groups will meet from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. and you can choose between a Sunday Group or a Tuesday Group which will start on Jan 22 & Jan 24. The information board in Leavitt Chapel has more details and a sign-up sheet.
Communications Ministry Team
We are launching a ministry team to explore how to improve our communications both within the church and to the broader community. Our work will include improving our web site, thinking about new ways to reach the UP family and communications strategies for reaching beyond our walls (including publicity, signage and more).
